Counselor’s Corner: Mrs. Aaseth

I am very excited to be the new counselor at Medina. I spent three years as a physical education, health, and math teacher at Pingree-Buchanan High School, so I am familiar with the MPB thunder! I recently graduated from University of North Dakota with my master’s degree in school counseling, and I spent last school year at Carrington Elementary School as the school counselor.

I live in Jamestown with my husband, Ben, who is a civil engineer and office manager at Interstate Engineering. In May 2017, we welcomed our first child, Walker. In my free time, I enjoy playing women’s volleyball, slowpitch softball, and spending time with my family.

As a school counselor, I will provide career counseling, classroom guidance, individual and group counseling, and serve as the 504 coordinator. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
