Our building addition is completed and we want you to see it! We are having an open house on Tuesday, August 5 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Please come out and take a tour of our new classrooms!

The first day of school is less than one month away and we know everyone is getting ready so here's some information about school supplies for the upcoming year.

This year, we are grateful to our generous patron who donated funds to purchase school supplies for students in preschool through 6th grade! We will also have some notebooks and pencils available for high school students—feel free to take what you need. School supplies will be distributed at the open house and during the first week of school.

While all other supplies will be provided, students will still need to bring a few personal items as noted below. Additionally, students may bring any specialty items, such as a different folder or notebook, if they wish.

UNOFFICIAL SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION RESULTS Medina, North Dakota, June 10, 2025. The School Board election was held on June 10, 2025 at the Medina Public School. 71 patrons of the district voted to fill one City position and one Rural position. The results were as follows: City position (one opening for a 3-year term): *Rory J. Hoffmann 55 votes Kurt Hayes 7 votes Wade Reister 5 votes Scott Moser 2 votes Rural position (one opening for a 3-year terms): *Shawn Gefroh 69 votes Richie Heinrich 1 vote * denotes winners

🚨Breaking news from State FFA Convention🚨 Our Dairy Cattle Team are STATE CHAMPIONS! 🐄 Congratulations to Abby, Katy and Aubree, who will represent ND at National Convention!

Medina Public School has an opening for a bus route driver for the 2025-2026 school year. This route requires a CDL with school bus and passenger bus endorsements. The school district can provide the necessary training to obtain a CDL and endorsements for this position. Time is running out to order photos from the 2024-2025 school year. If you have not yet ordered your photos, please do so by June 30. Also, you still have a few days to take advantage of free shipping in the month of May!

There will be a girls' basketball open gym on Thursday, May 29 in Medina from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. All girls in grades 7-12 interested in playing basketball and participating in summer/off-season events are welcome to attend.

Attention! If your child participated in the Summer Reading Challenge during the summer of 2023, they have until the end of May to use their Medina Bucks (even though it has an expiration of 10-01-24). The Medina Bucks from the Summer Reading Challenge of 2024 are still good until October of 2025.

Dear Families, We’re thrilled to announce that FREE summer meals are back – helping kids stay full, fueled, and ready for summer fun! 😎🍓 Here’s what you need to know for Stutsman County Extension’s Host Site: 📅 Meal Pickup Day: Wednesdays only 🕚 Time: 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM 📍 Location: Stutsman County Extension Office 🥪 What you get: A 7-day meal pack for each youth (age 18 and under). That’s a whole week of meals in one easy pickup! Just come back each Wednesday for your next box. 📝 Important Info: • Our site is a closed-enrolled site this year. • You’ll need to fill out a Parent/Guardian Consent Form just once before receiving meals. (You can do this right at our site.) • Only one site allowed: If your child gets summer meals from any other site in Jamestown, they cannot also participate at the Extension site. ✨ These meals are healthy, delicious, and completely FREE – no income guidelines, no registration needed ahead of time, just one form and you’re all set! Here is some additional information regarding the PowerSchool cybersecurity incident that occurred in December. PowerSchool is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services for 2 years to those affected. This includes educators and current or former students.
