It has a been a great FFA Week! Today we had our pep rally for FFA. It started with some great relay races with students from all grades and it ended with some pies in some faces, including our own Ms. Montgomery. FFA officers also visited elementary classrooms to share about FFA.
Today was our Vision Zero kicked off! Students learned more about the program and we got to see the premier of the commercials and the unveiling of our banner. We are excited for our leaders to share more about the "Buckle Up, Phone Down" focus.

We shoot on Monday evenings at 5:15 pm at the Buffalo City Gun Club by the Jamestown Fairgrounds. Our first night of shooting is Monday, April 5th. The final week of shooting is May 18th. The kids will need to have their own shotgun and bring a minimum of two boxes of shells a week. They will shoot 2 rounds a week with the option to shoot an extra practice round. They must pay their own league registration fees, but all the rounds of clay targets and uniforms are free.
Students must provide their own transportation to Jamestown for the clay target league.

Today was the Stutsman County Spelling Bee. McKenna got 2nd place and Jaelee got 3rd place. Our students did great and represented Medina Public School well. Congratulations on your hard work.

State Superintendent, Levi Bachmeier visited our staff and students on February 6. Thank you, Supt. Bachmeier, for taking some time to see what's happening at our school!
Due to illness and a shortage of players, there will only be 1 junior high boys' basketball game played in Ellendale today. The junior high game will still begin at 4:30 and will be played in the main gym. The JV will begin at 6:00, followed by the varsity.
