Students will shoot on Monday evenings at 5:15 pm at the Buffalo City Gun Club by the Jamestown Fairgrounds. The first night of shooting is Monday, September 14th. The final week of shooting is October 19th. Students will need to have their own shotgun and bring a minimum of two boxes of shells each week. They will shoot 2 rounds a week with the option to shoot an extra practice round. They must pay their own league registration fees, but all the rounds of clay targets and uniforms are free.
Medina Public School does not provide transportation to Clay Target League in Jamestown. Students must provide their own transportation.

As parents are getting logged into Infinite Campus, if you notice your child's schedule isn't accurate, please visit with Mrs. Foth or Mrs. Hofmann at open house on Monday. Teresa will also have printed student schedules and locker assignments at our open house, so we hope to see our families on Monday!

There have been some adjustments to the practice times for VB for August 17 and August 18. VB practice will run from 4:00 to 6:00 on August 17 and from 1:00 to 3:00 on August 18.
The Medina Fall Festival will be Sept. 11-13, 2026. The weekend will be packed with hometown fun for everyone! Please join us in Medina for this yearly event.
Our food and beverage policy was updated this summer and there were some changes with the allowed beverages at school and on school transportation. Please review the changes here or in our school handbook. These changes were made to promote healthy choices for our students and staff.

The fall sports season is just around the corner! Cross Country practice will begin on August 10 and Volleyball practice will begin on August 17. More details about practice times will be coming soon. All players will need to make sure they have a valid sports physical before the first day of practice. Also, all parents of student-athletes will need to complete the online MPB Athletics Participation Presentation. If you have more than one child participating in sports, please remember to submit a separate consent form for each child. Medina Public School is upgrading our student information system from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus to better serve our school community. We will begin to roll out this change over the next couple weeks. There will be an online registration link coming soon and parents and students will soon receive access to a brand-new, user-friendly portal to track schedules, grades, attendance and much more. Stay tuned for more updates and login instructions coming your way soon! We appreciate your patience as we launch this new tool for a great upcoming school year.

We will be hosting a Back to School Open House on Monday, August 17, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

THANKFUL!! This year, we are grateful to our generous patron who donated funds to purchase school supplies for students in preschool through 6th grade! . School supplies will be distributed at the open house and during the first week of school.
While all other supplies will be provided, students will still need to bring a few personal items as noted below. Additionally, students may bring any specialty items, such as a different folder or notebook, if they wish. We will also have some notebooks and pencils available for high school students—feel free to take what you need. If you have any questions, please contact the school.
