Parent Teacher Conferences will be tomorrow, Monday, October 16 from 1:30-7:30 pm. Students will be dismissed at 1:15 pm. We hope to see all our parents at conferences. We will have some informational sessions on Choice Ready for our high school parents as well as some information for all parents about our new communication tool "Rooms."

You are Invited! If you are the parent of a student in grades 8-12, you are invited to attend a Choice Ready/State Scholarship Presentation on Monday during Parent Teacher Conferences. There will be 3 presentations throughout the evening (2:30, 3:30 & 4:30) so you can choose the time that works best for you. The presentations will take place in the commons area.
Choice ready is part of the Every Student Succeeds Act that helps increase student readiness for whatever path they choose following graduation, whether that be post-secondary education, entering the workforce or joining the military. Our goal as a school (and as a state) is to graduate at many choice ready students as possible!
The state scholarship, which is a $6,000 scholarship available to any high school student who meets the criteria, is now aligned with the Choice Ready framework. Therefore, it is imperative for parents to understand the Choice Ready and State Scholarship requirements to help their students choose courses, high school activities, service projects, etc. to set them on a path to meet the state scholarship requirements.
Please join us for one of the presentations! We look forward to seeing you there!!

To access the "Rooms" parent communication tool, make sure you download our app and enable notifications.

They have been told to wear long pants and closed toe shoes so please help them remember to do so tomorrow morning! Also, there are a handful of students who have not returned their photo consent form... if your student has not asked you to sign a form for the field trip, please ask them about it.
Collin's Aerospace is a aircraft part manufacturer and our tour is aligned with Manufacturing Week. If you would like to know more about Collin's Aerospace and what they do, you can check out their website here: https://www.collinsaerospace.com/
