Our students participated in the statewide Hour of Code today! Students worked independently and in groups to code. We even had some Macarena dancers in a coding activity! Find more activities at code.org.

Twelve of our student council members are currently attending the ND student council conference in Bismarck. We are learning and leading! One of our sessions was making tie blankets to donate to Veterans. Also, our very own Gracie Gunderson won the “Add It Up” game. She beat out over 1,400 students. #mathskills
What costumes will Mr. Bosche and Mrs. Hofmann wear next Monday? First, we have to hit our goal for our fundraiser, then we will vote! Bring your donations this week!
I had the chance to once again attend the National Association of Agriculture Educators conference in Anaheim this past week. It is amazing to see the awesome things ag teaches across the nation are accomplishing. I was able to hear from astronaut Garrett Reisman whose message was empowering and reminded me that it's okay to fail as long as you get up and try again. I attended several sessions geared toward agriculture and am excited to bring back these new ideas to my classroom and program. Additionally, I served on the Ag Ed strategic planning committee and was able to work with other individuals to continue to better our association and Ag education. I am thankful to my community, school administrators, colleagues, and my state ag ed association for making it possible for me to attend.

The Class Play will be on Saturday, December 7 at 8:00 pm at the City Hall. Our students and staff enjoyed the matinee today. Great job students and Mrs. Heupel!
Megan scored her 1,000th career point last night at the first girls basketball game of the season! Way to go Megan!! We are excited to cheer for our MPB Thunder team this season. GO THUNDER!
Our elementary classrooms are collecting donations for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. Money will be collected this week and next week. Our poster with some local HEROS is hanging by the front door. Here are 3 of the HEROS from our area.
Jessica and Nicole from the Stutsman County Courthouse visited the 4th graders to teach them about elections and voting.
High school students who are currently enrolled in a NDCDE (online) course need to select a new class for next semester. The students were given the forms today and they are due back to Mrs. Aaseth by Thursday, December 12th. Classes can be found at www.ndcde.org under “courses.”
Tonight is the Elementary Concert! The music begins at 7:00 pm in the gym.
Our elementary is having a fundraiser for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, NOW through Dec. 13. This year, Superintendent Bosche and Principal Hofmann will dress in silly costumes and have a trivia contest if students meet their fundraising goal.

The first practice for 9-12 boys’ basketball will be Monday, December 2 in Pingree at 6:00 PM. The first practice for junior high boys will be on Wednesday, December 4 in Buchanan.

The first graders participated in a contest for our VoWac lesson “It Is In The Igloo”. They had to decide what was in the igloo. We received a very special delivery today for 3 students in our class that were chosen as winners!! Congratulations to Wyatt, Brynn, and Brylee!
