
The baseball game scheduled for Thursday, April 25 in Jamestown will now be played in Medina. We are unable to use Jack Brown Stadium in Jamestown due to a scheduling conflict with the UJ Baseball team. Start time is still 4:30.

Sports Physicals—May 3rd at Medina School
All students participating in sports for the 2024-2025 school year must have a valid sports physical. Trisha Fennern, Nurse Practitioner from Minot Health Clinic will be conducting sports physicals on Friday, May 3rd at Medina School from 10:30 AM until 3:30 PM. These physicals are valid for the 2024-2025 school year. Please contact Teresa at Medina School by May 2nd to set up an appointment. The cost of the physicals is $50. Physical forms are available at the school or they may be accessed on the NDHSAA website. Please bring these completed forms with you the day of your physical. Physicals will not be completed unless parental forms are signed, and payment is made. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to complete your paperwork. Payment can be made by cash, credit card, or check. If you have any questions, please call the school.

The track meet scheduled for Tuesday, April 16 in Carrington has been cancelled due to the weather forecast. There will be track practice in Pingree on Tuesday.

Due to rain in the forecast for this week, the baseball game that was originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 16 has been moved up to Monday, April 15. Start time for the game will still be 4:30 PM. Play practice for this day will move to 8:30 PM instead of 6:30 PM.

Yesterday, we had our Hoops for Heart celebration! Our school community raised over $10000 for this worthy cause. Mr. T got silly stringed by the students who raised the highest amounts! Thank you to all who donated!


Medina music students had a successful day at contest yesterday! 23 students received stars and will be advancing to state music contest on May 4th in Bismarck. Also, congratulations to Alaina Bosche for receiving an Outstanding Performance award on her vocal solo! I'm so proud of you all!











Thanks for the All Kids Bike organization, our primary students, our 1st graders got to use their Strider bikes today!





Today's (April 8) baseball game in Valley City has been cancelled. There will also be NO practice for baseball today.


Tonight is the Annual FFA Banquet at 6:30 at the school. Please join us to celebrate all the accomplishments of our students.

The City of Medina will begin construction on a water & sewer project soon. The anticipated start date is April 16. Portions of School Street and 3rd Avenue will be closed during this construction project. Please use Park Road and Park Lane to access the school parking lot during construction.

There will be a fundraiser held on Saturday, April 20 to support Lucas Lytle and Trevor Miller with their trip to Salt Lake City for the national archery tournament. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Pancakes, French toast, sausage, bacon, eggs. juice, and coffee will be available. A free will donation will be taken and all proceeds will go towards travel expenses for Lucas and Trevor.

Alaina Bosche, Madison Hofmann, and Taryn Mittleider represented our school last weekend in the ND All-State choirs. We are so proud of you! Alaina was also the recipient of the "4-year award" for being chosen for an All-State choir all 4 of her high school years. Congratulations on being the only class B student to earn the award this year!



Good luck to our junior and senior high Science Olympiad teams tomorrow (Thursday) at their competition at BSC. Students in grades 7-10 will competing. They will leave the school at 7:15 am (be to the school by 7:05 am) and plan to return by 3:25 dismissal time.
