For tomorrow's (February 7) boys' basketball game with Ellendale, there will only be 2 quarters for the JV game. The Junior High game will begin at 4:30, the JV game will begin at 6:00, and the varsity game will follow the JV game.
Today, our elementary students took part in the thrilling “Global Play Day”! This annual event promotes the joy of unstructured play without any screens! Our students engaged in fantastic collaborations with their peers, creating fun and memorable experiences while playing together! What a wonderful day filled with laughter and creativity!
Here is the bracket for the District 2 Girls' Basketball Tournament that will begin on Friday, February 14 at the Jamestown Civic Center. Go Thunder!

I'm excited to announce that Medina School has three talented singers chosen for ND All-State choir! This is the most elite of all the festivals throughout the year. Our students went through a live audition process earlier this month and competed against students from Class A & B schools across the state. They will travel to Bismarck Event Center March 23-25 where they will work with guest conductors from across the U.S. and conclude with a public concert on March 25th. Congratulations to Madison Hofmann, Taryn Mittleider, and Cherdan Slaughter for being chosen! I'm so proud of you!
Today was another Team Time! Today was all about the photo challenges. One of the photo challenges was to do a "roller coaster" picture. Can you see it? Students were all helping each other get in place for these pics. So fun!
The Medina FFA Alumni ice skating rink is now open!
Special SKATE NIGHT is scheduled for February 8th. Come out and join the fun!
Tomorrow's (January 28) JH boys' basketball game in Medina vs. Kidder County will begin at 3:30 instead of 4:30. Kidder County needs some of their JH players to play in a JV game in Steele on this night as well. We will still play 6 quarters, but the game will begin at 3:30 instead of 4:30.
Our junior English class is reading picture books to elementary classrooms. The books were great and the younger kids loved hearing them from the big kids!

Tomorrow's (January 21) Boys Basketball games are in Pingree vs. Warwick starting at 4:30. The printed school lunch calendar showed these games were in Napoleon, but these games are in Pingree tomorrow .
Today's (Jan 13) Junior High Boys Basketball game is home at Medina Public School, starting at 4:30.
The printed school calendar said Napoleon, but it is HOME in Medina today.
