Trisha Fennern, Nurse Practitioner from Minot Health Clinic will be conducting sports physicals at Medina School on Friday, April 17 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Medina Student Council is planning a community movie night on Friday, April 17th from 6:30-8:30pm at the Dakota Heritage Bank Activity Center for families and community members. Here is basketball camp opportunity for boys and girls in grades 2-8.
Pre-K and Kindergarten visited the Medina Ambulance and Fire Station. We learned about the tools and equipment firefighters use and sat inside an ambulance to see how it works. Thank you to our community helpers for welcoming us and teaching us— we really appreciate you

Our kindergartners did school announcements this morning. They did a great job! Thank you for being the first classroom to do announcements. We can't wait to hear different classes and teachers to do our morning announcements.
Our high school and upper elementary students got to practice (or learn) playing chess today and yesterday. Thank you Todd, the Chess Guy, for sharing about chess and providing a great environment to learn.

World Down Syndrome Day is a global awareness day that celebrates the lives of people with Down syndrome. WDSD occurs on the 21st day of March each year to represent the triplication of the 21st chromosome.

Our girls ensemble sang the national anthem last night at the State B Boys Basketball Tournament. They did a great job!
Our Kindergarten class just completed our magical reading unit on "Kings and Queens," and to celebrate, we hosted an enchanting royal tea party fit for royalty!
