Reminder! Registration deadline for the Medina Fall Festival 5K is tomorrow, Sept. 1st! Contact Tammy Heinrich or call the school office. Tammy.heinrich@k12.nd.us.
*You can always register the morning of the race, but you won’t get a t-shirt!

Student safety is a top concern. Students are not allowed to be in the school or on school grounds after school is dismissed. Students should not stay at school, unaccompanied by a parent, while waiting for an after school activity to begin.

Ms. Buckeye, who is student teaching with Miss Vandehoven, is teaching the 7th grade Ag students about FFA Official Dress today by creating it with sidewalk chalk in our school parking lot.

The Medina Fall Festival is quickly approaching! There is fun for the whole family.

There will be a Family Outdoor Movie on Friday, Sept. 9 at 8:30 pm in the Medina City Park.
The movie is yet to be determined.

Reminder MPS Families: Students will need to pay full price for school meals or fill out an application to qualify for free or reduced cost meals.
You can now complete your free/reduced meal application online? Click on this link to start the process now: https://apply4schoolmeals.dpi.nd.gov

I would like to introduce everyone to this young lady, Miss Olivia Buckeye as she will be joining the Medina Ag Ed Department this fall as she finishes up her undergraduate at NDSU as she student teaches with me. We are very excited to have her with us this coming fall. Below are a few words from Miss Buckeye:
Hello everyone! I am so happy and excited to be here. My name is Olivia, also known as Miss Buckeye. I graduated high school from Edgeley in 2018. After graduation, I knew I wanted to stick with my passion for agriculture which is why I chose to major in Agricultural Education at NDSU. While on campus I kept myself very busy by being involved in Collegiate Cattlewomen, Saddle & Sirloin, and was a CAFSNR Ag Ambassador. In my free time I enjoy being outside doing pretty much anything. I especially like being on our farm working with my cattle. Again, I am beyond excited to be in Medina! I can’t wait to meet everyone and kick this school year off to a great start! Go Thunder!!

Medina Fall Festival will be Sept. 9-11. There are activities for all ages, Friday through Sunday. We will see you there!

The Medina FFA wants to apologize for all the miscommunications about the pitchfork fondue that was held last night (August 6th). We are so thankful to live in a community that is so supportive of our chapter. We look forward to seeing you at the FFA Alumni Fondue the Friday of fall festival. Tickets go one sale this coming week. Thank you again for your continued support!

Volleyball practice begins Monday, August 15. The first practice will be held in Medina from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Here is a link to the practice schedule. https://5il.co/1f87m
