NOTICE TO LANDOWNERS IN MEDINA SCHOOL DISTRICT
The budget hearing date for Medina School District included on the 2021 Notice of Estimated Property Tax sent to taxpayers on August 27, 2021, is incorrect. The hearing will take place TODAY Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 7:00 PM at the Medina School Library. The regular monthly school board meeting will follow the hearing.

The VB matches on Thursday, September 9 in Pingree will begin at 3:30 instead of 4:00. 7th, 8th, C, JV, & Varsity squads will all play on this night so we want to allow ample time for all matches. Please spread the word about this change. Go Thunder!!!

We had a donation of gently used juniors/women’s clothing. There are many name brands, and some clothes even have tags! If any girls would like to look through the clothes, they will be set outside of Mrs. Aaseth office. Please feel free to take what you need.

Are you interested in health careers? If so, Sanford is offering a program called “Sanford’s MedX Virtual” which is a one-of-a-kind, virtual health career exploration program. The Sanford MedX program is offered by Sanford’s new career center, ASPIRE, and is geared for high school students who are interested in health careers. MedX Virtual is a FREE program that offers participants the opportunity to interact with health professionals working in 20+ areas of healthcare, encouraging exploration and fueling deeper-dives into students’ health career interests. Students apply to attend one (13-week) semester program either Fall or Spring. Enrollment is open and students can register at any time.

Seniors will have the opportunity to tour Bismarck State College and University of Mary on Monday, September 27th. The bus will be leaving at 8:00am from school and students will need to arrange to have a ride to school that day and they will need to collect homework from all their missed classes. If seniors are not participating in this tour, they are expected to attend school on Sept. 27th. All seniors were told about this opportunity today during class and they will need to let Mrs. Aaseth know if they will be taking this tour by the end of the day on Monday, September 13th.
