UNOFFICIAL SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION RESULTS Medina, North Dakota, June 10, 2025. The School Board election was held on June 10, 2025 at the Medina Public School. 71 patrons of the district voted to fill one City position and one Rural position. The results were as follows: City position (one opening for a 3-year term): *Rory J. Hoffmann 55 votes Kurt Hayes 7 votes Wade Reister 5 votes Scott Moser 2 votes Rural position (one opening for a 3-year terms): *Shawn Gefroh 69 votes Richie Heinrich 1 vote * denotes winners

Medina Public School has an opening for a bus route driver for the 2025-2026 school year. This route requires a CDL with school bus and passenger bus endorsements. The school district can provide the necessary training to obtain a CDL and endorsements for this position. Time is running out to order photos from the 2024-2025 school year. If you have not yet ordered your photos, please do so by June 30. Also, you still have a few days to take advantage of free shipping in the month of May!

There will be a girls' basketball open gym on Thursday, May 29 in Medina from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. All girls in grades 7-12 interested in playing basketball and participating in summer/off-season events are welcome to attend.

Attention! If your child participated in the Summer Reading Challenge during the summer of 2023, they have until the end of May to use their Medina Bucks (even though it has an expiration of 10-01-24). The Medina Bucks from the Summer Reading Challenge of 2024 are still good until October of 2025.
