
Congratulations to Alaina Bosche for being selected to be a part of the ND All-State Treble Chorus. She will join a group of 80 singers from around the state to rehearse and perform at Bismarck High School on March 21 at 3:00pm.

The music department is hosting its second annual dinner theater (and Sunday dessert theater) as a fundraiser for their upcoming music trip. Tickets are available from high school music students or by calling the school at 701.486.3121. Tickets will NOT be available at the door. Thank you for supporting our school's music students!!


Governor Burgum is adjusting the statewide risk level from moderate/yellow risk to low/green risk, effective 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29. On January 29, masks will no longer be required at Medina Public School. Masks will be encouraged as part of our Health & Safety Plan. Close contact and quarantine guidelines are still in effect and will be followed. Also, we will no longer need to issue tickets for extra-curricular events due to increased capacity limits for our gymnasium.

Just a reminder that school will dismiss at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 27 for staff professional development. Archery practice will run from 2:00 to 3:00 on this day. Girls' BB practice will begin at 4:00 in Medina, and Boys' BB practice will begin at 3:15 in Pingree (the Boys' BB bus will leave Medina at 2:30).

FFA practices for the week of January 19th are listed below. Parents, I am going to be trying to get a practice schedule and contest schedule to you by the end of the week as well.
Ag Sales: Thursday at 3:30 until 4:30pm or Friday at 7:15 am
Agronomy: Wednesday at 7am
Livestock: Friday starting in homeroom until 4:30 or 5
FFA Meeting is scheduled for homeroom on January 20th.

The Girls and Boys BB games at the Civic Center today will be broadcasted in AM 600. The girls take on Strasburg-Zeeland at 3:00 pm and the boys take on S-Z at 4:30 pm.


The juniors are busy popping popcorn today to share with ALL!!
We had a community member pay for ALL students to enjoy popcorn, so students will be bringing back home their $1 from home. We are THANKFUL for our community support!


Our county risk level continues to be Yellow. According to our Restart Plan, masks are REQUIRED at school and on busses.


The next FFA meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 20th during homeroom. All 7-12th grade Ag students are welcome to attend.

The JH GBB game in Medina on Friday, January 15 vs. NGS will only be 7th grade. Game time is 4:00. On Saturday, January 16 in Ellendale, the JH GBB game will only be 8th grade. Game time on Saturday for the 8th grade is 12:00.

Winter CDE season is upon us. This includes livestock evaluation, agronomy, and agricultural sales. Our first contest will be held on February 6th and so practices will start this coming week in preparation for that event.
If this is your first year participating in agricultural sales, please be thinking about an agricultural product that you would like to sell.
