
Here is the bracket for the Stutsman County Boys' Basketball Tournament. Vouchers are not required to attend the tournament. Tickets can be purchased for $8 at the door as in the past. Fans will be asked to clear the civic center at the completion of each game and masks are required.

FREE breakfast and lunch for all Medina Public School Students will continue until June 2021. This means ALL students in Medina Public School will receive free breakfasts and lunches until the end of the school year on May 21, 2021. The free meals include students in school and all students attending virtually. Please contact the school about meal pick-up for your virtual students.

Tickets for the December 19 GBB game at the Newman Center must be purchased in advance from Medina Public School. Tickets will NOT be available at the door. POSTPONED: FFA Pancake, French Toast and Sausage breakfast that was scheduled for December 13th has been postponed until a later date!

Capacity guidelines have been revised for our gymnasium. Due to this revision, Medina Public School will be able to conduct the high school and elementary Christmas concerts at live performances. The high school concert will be performed on Monday, December 14 at 7:30 PM and the elementary concert will be performed on Tuesday, December 15 at 7:00 PM. Each family will be issued 3 tickets for entrance to the concert. Masks are required. Tickets will be sent home with the oldest child in each family on Thursday, December 10. If you do not receive these tickets, please call the school. Both concerts will be livestreamed on the school’s Facebook page, as well as uploaded to YouTube. Students should wear their normal concert attire: nice dress clothes for elementary and black/white dress code for grades 7-12.


Due to current attendance restrictions, Medina Public School will be conducting the high school and elementary Christmas concerts “virtually.” The elementary concert will be performed on Tuesday, December 15 at 9:20 AM and the high school concert will be performed on Wednesday, December 16 at 2:10 PM. Both events will be livestreamed on the school’s Facebook page, as well as uploaded to YouTube. There will be no outside guests allowed at the concerts. Students should wear their normal concert attire: nice dress clothes for elementary and black/white dress code for grades 7-12.

The State FFA Winter Leadership Conference is being held virtually on January 9th, 2020. The Medina FFA Officer team invites 7-12th grade students to join them that Saturday at the Medina Public School for food, games, leadership activities, and the state programming. They hope to make it a fun-filled day for all members that plan to participate. Ag Ed/FFA members must be signed up by the end of the day on December 1st in order to participate. The sign up sheet is located in the Ag room. The officer team hopes to see many of you sign up!

Basketball practice will begin on Monday, November 30 for girls and boys in grades 7-12. 7-12 boys will practice in Pingree after school. 9-12 girls will practice at Medina School. 7 & 8 grade girls will practice at Medina City Hall. There have been many changes to the schedule. A revised schedule will be provided soon.


Reminder: NO SCHOOL Wednesday, November 25. We have Thanksgiving break and will return on Monday, November 30.


Picture retake day and CLASS picture day will be Thursday, December 3. Be on the lookout for a class picture order form, if you haven’t ordered one already!
