Our elementary students have multiple recesses each day. Some students bring toys from home on some days. Here is our guidance on bringing toys from home: If a student brings toys from home, he/she is expected to share with other students who want to play with him/her. Toys may get lost or broken while they are at school. If students bring toys, that is a risk they take when bringing toys from home. If your child is not willing to share or take the risk of losing a toy or something breaking, please don’t send toys to school with your child.

A huge thank you for all the support this weekend of the Medina FFA Alumni at the fondue/steak fry and the truck pull concessions. We have an awesome community that pulls together when things do not go the way that the are supposed to. So thank you to everyone who helped out this weekend from the Alumni themselves, FFA members, community members and the list goes on. This community is truly amazing. -Ms. Jenny Vandehoven

We will host a cross country meet on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 4:00 pm at Crystal Springs Baptist Camp. We begin with an elementary run. Please have runners there by 3:45 to warm up.

Our Messy Bessy winner is Bonnie Hofmann. Congrats Bonnie! Thank you to everyone that bought a ticket! We greatly appreciate your support.

A huge THANK-YOU goes out to the participants of the Medina Fall Festival 5K Fun Run/Walk. Once again the rain tried to dampen our event, but our runners/walkers were determined to finish! All proceeds will go to Kaje who continues to be in our thoughts and prayers.

THANK YOU to our staff, students and families for supporting Kaje! We raised over $1500 AND we had an alumni student contact us and pledge to match up to $1000, so we were able to add that to the total! If anyone would still like to donate, please bid on the silent auction and live action items Sept. 12. You can always make donations too. An account is set up at First Community Credit Union in Jamestown. It is the Kaje’s Benefit Account. We continue to pray for Kaje and his family.
Thank you MPS family! Also, thank you to our co-op school, Pingree-Buchanan for holding a penny drive and donating to Kaje!
